Having pets for companions would be a good idea. They can be entertaining especially when they can do tricks with their bodies, toys and surroundings. There would always be someone to man a house even when the owner is out at work. There would also be something that would occupy ones evening after a long day at the office. There are many kinds and breeds to choose from and one of them are the artattack bengals.

Artattack bengals are cross breeds of domestic cats and Asian leopard cats. The traits of both parents being seen in this breed makes it very unique. Looking closely like a leopard, they possess characteristics that are of the gentle domesticated cat. They would have to be removed from their wild ancestry four times for them to be recognized, if not, they would exhibit aggression and other wild traits which make them not suited to have in homes.

It has a very unique appearance. The breeding plays a significant role in that. It has beautiful spots on its coats which it gets from the Asian leopard cat parent. It varies in pattern including arrows, paw prints and doughnuts. The color of its coat can be in three groups, snow, silver and brown. Compared to domestic cats, it has larger eyes, longer legs and pronounced whisker pads in addition to the brilliant leopard markings.

Its temperament is quite specific too. It is known as curious, alert and confident, yet still friendly. Some cat associations will not allow it in cat shows from concerns on the temperament it has including timidity, wariness and aggression. Given traits from both the wild and the docile, it is a cross which is affectionate and energetic.

The Asian leopard cat loves to hunt fish. That makes a bengal a water lover, not like other cat breeds. It will join its owner for a swim even and that would make for a more enjoyable time for owner and pet.

They are very playful too. They can even be considered dog-like. They are affectionate and loyal, love to play fetch and seek attention. They are easy to train because they are quite intelligent. They are not easily intimidated so it would be wise to set ground rules for them.

Given the attention with how it is bred, it can come with a high price tag. That would be worthwhile though because of how great a pet it can be. One can really interact with it and it even plays with other pets, even dogs, unlike other cat breeds. Its beauty also makes it worth the price difference.

With that, it would also be wise that the cat you secure is one that is well bred. Make sure that the cat is far removed from its wild ancestry so you can ensure ease with raising it. You should choose the breeder you get your cat from, seeing to it that he is one who is ethical and can be relied on.
