But instead of maintaining the pureness of the breed, most of the people have incorporated it with other breeds. The aim is to have a smaller type of canine that can accompany people at home.

The process was administered to make them more tamed. And the ones that you see now are just a fragment of what they were before. Later, the pure breeds became obscure until they cease to exist.

But even with the changes that has happened with the breed, there are still a lot of people who have found a good pet in the persona of these canines. For those people who want to know more about this interesting breed, here are some facts about them. It would be best to consider them first before you make a purchase.

The mean streak that it possess have been carried on. That is why even when it is already in its sweetest nature, there are others who can still see the beast in the look. Most of the schools have benefited from the appearance of the bulldog through making it their mascot. There are also companies who have made the image of the famed canine as their image as well.

According to a survey, the breed placed a spot in the most famous dogs list. There is also an American president who have made it his best buddy. There are rumors that Winston Churchill had a bulldog. But this is not true. He had a pug and not the other breed.

There are a lot of people and dog enthusiasts who feel that the disappearance of the original lineage was a waste. But the pet owners from Tulsa, Oklahoma pretty much prefer their pets the way they are at the moment and would rather not have them any other way. There is still a debate today as to which of the versions are better.
