Basic Facts About Labradoodle Breeder

By Alta Alexander

A labradoodle dog is a crossbreed between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. This dog is intelligent and can be used as a guide dog since most of them are hypoallergenic. This hybrid often results in unpredictable characteristics, unlike the pure breeds which are easy to tell what their standard characteristics are.

They may also differ in appearance and behavior. But generally, they are friendly, hyper, and are sociable breeds. They love being around families especially children. There are Labradoodle breeder Los Angeles, CA but the original breeder that discovered this hybrid was an Australian dog breeder.

Most of them are hairy but they have different hair textures and colors. Some are wiry and curly, while others have straight hair and some are wavy. The colors range from dark brown to light and there are also whites. More and more labradoodles have been trained for guide services and they are just as effective as most Labrador Retrievers which are usually the breeds preferred for service dogs.

Those who have tried the services of these dogs have claimed that they are effective in changing their lives and making them feel better and secured, especially those children who are having medical conditions and abnormalities. They are also very effective guides to the blind. The first ever guide dog was trained in West Australia.

Owners of these pooches love to trim and groom them whenever their furs get too thick. Others go more than just the basic cut. One example is the dog named Charles. He was groomed and given a lion inspired haircut. Some people who saw him immediately called nine one one to report a lion on the loose running down the streets.

He became very famous since then, guesting in talk shows, tv shows, and commercials. These dogs are hyperactive and they really like their humans to pet them. But regardless of what type of breed of dog, it is important to take care of them, groom them, and give them the proper nutrition and hygiene.

Canines that have thick hair need to stay in cool temperature if their hairs are not cut. If they are leashed outside under the heat of the sun, especially during summer, they may die from heat stroke or they could develop skin diseases. Hence, they need to either be kept inside the house with cool temperature or groomed and trimmed if their hair gets thicker.

They are amazing companions and they can give too much entertainment. Anyone can smile by just looking at their antics and observing their behavior. Sometimes, they may go too hyperactive and they may destroy some decors and furniture. But they will repay that with all the loyalty and love that cannot be surpassed by any other kind of pet.

Another thing is that they have to be given a microchip so that they will not get lost easily. And if ever they do, they will be found and traced easily. The most important thing is that they need to be given unconditional love because they will be as much as willing to give their own life to their owner.
