As regards nutrition, these animals are quite easy to feed as they will eat almost anything form bushes and small trees to grass and weeds. Overfeeding them will of course fatten them up but it can also lead to health complications.

Their small size should not fool anyone into thinking that they need small spaces to live in. They still do require some space to romp around in since they can get quite rambunctious at times. The space they are kept in should have some small stumps and rocks for them to climb on and jump on for their fun. As regards making them co habit with other farm animals like cattle and horses and such, it will prove to be no problem at all.

If you have finally decided on getting this goat as a pet or milk producer, do keep in mind that they do not do good living alone. They must be procured in pairs or groups of upwards of three goats or more since they are basically herd animals, and they must always feel that they do live in a herd.
