The dogs are fairly easy to take care of because their curly coats don't shed much. They need to be combed every couple of weeks unless you decide to have them clipped, in which case they only need to be brushed every few weeks. You should only bathe the dogs when they get dirty. Too much soap and water will dry out their skin.

Most designer dogs are prone to certain diseases and conditions. Eye disease, ear infections, hip dysplasia, and allergies are some of the ailments to watch out for with Goldendoodles.
