Biggest Dog Breed

If you thought that finding large dog pens and large wicker dog beds was challenging, try finding an extra large wicker dog bed for the largest dog breed. Our adorable extra large dogs need extra space, and though they are big on size, they are also are big on compassion.

The first in our list of extra large dog breeds is an African Boerboel is often confused with the Mastiff and Bulldog but they are unique and bred in Africa as a protector and working dog. Next in our list of extra large dog breeds is the Akbash looks so beautiful with their snow white coat, yet make no mistake, they have been bred to be the undisputed leader of the pack.

If you are looking for one of the largest dog breed that loves children, then the Akita fits that mold. They are excellent with families, as is the American Bulldog, so the kids will enjoy these extra large dog breeds. The Alapha Blue Blood Bulldog is a rare breed, but they are smart and also love families.

The Alaskan Malamute is a beautiful looking breed who are however independent and may not listen to their owners on every occasion. The Old Country Bulldog, otherwise known as the American Bulldog, is an easy dog to love, and they really love their owners. Sometimes this wonderful breed will do heroic acts to protect their owners. The Anatolian Shepherd resembles the Great Pyrenees in looks, and is a loyal breed that is used as guardian dogs.

The extra large dog breeds starting with the letter B is the Beauceron, who is a breed that dates back to the 16th century. This fine breed is one of France's most beloved dog that is known for their leadership qualities that comes from their herding background. One of the oldest working dogs is the Bernese Mountain dog, with their beautiful black, brown and white coats. This breed does not have the life span of most breeds so enjoy every minute you have with them.
