The Importance Of Bengal Cats

By Michelle Bailey

Pets are quality and reliable friends to a family, and n o matter how heated arguments are between the members, they will find reasons for coming together. Pets are loyal, cooperative and smart, trained to live in houses and behave in ways which are pleasing to man.If you have not yet thought of having a pet, the bengal cats are an excellent type so; here is some information about them.

They came into being after cross breeding a domestic cat and a small sized wild, Asian Leopard. The purpose was to come up with a creature with both the wild actions but good enough to fit in our homes. The F1 generation was later bred with other domestics to extend the traits. The procedure was a success, and the animals are available in many states.

The most obvious reason why most families do not own a pet is to avoid a scary creature in their lives.Their appearance is the first trait that a homeowner will consider.Kids will prefer the animals more hence, should be kept panic free. This type of cat differs in size, weight, eye color and the features of the outer covering. These are to give you a chance to get a nonhuman friend.

The coat may be of two types; marbled and rosette. In marbling, the cat has horizontal stripping and they assume the look of swishes and swirls from front to back. The color of the lines depends on that of parents. The animal has spots that look more like dough nuts than dots. Eyes can be anything from dark copper gold to minty green to bright yellow and to ice blue depending on the ancestry.

It is evident that hybrids have great manners. They are brilliant and will act in ways different from a normal cat.The most notable trait is their water intake, they take in too much and will not dip use their heads to take it from the bowl but dip paws and lick instead.Their best playing area is the flooded thus suitable when swimming.

This breed loves water and always ready to destroy everything to make a pool in the room. This is done in search of water creatures like fish. For home kept fish tanks, it is quite expensive replacing the glassware and the fish should monitor the behavior of your pet.Teach them what is right as they keep growing.

Bengals are very active and associated with the never tiring group of animals. They do not easily get enough of play and will shift from place to place in search of a new act. They are known to look down on other animals, snatch good looking items and flee. They mark their territory and will not welcome new animals.

Because of this, the mentioned type should be well taken care of.You should monitor their health, look in the diet and ensure all is well.Prepare a neat place for them to nap or move to when they are stressed. They are very affectionate to humans if treated right and they quickly pick up routine acts like turning the tap, closing and opening the door.
