Newfie Puppies, And The Fury Joy They Bring

By Angela Thomas

Pets can be cute, even beautiful, that is why people fall in love with them. But owning them requires responsibility. You cannot just leave them lying around everywhere, eventually finding them lost or sick. Puppies can especially be very adorable.

But of course, they cannot stay like that for very long. That is why, you have to think very carefully about the idea of having newfie puppies. They can be very demanding, because they need proper care and attention. If you cannot commit yourself for everything that comes with having them until they become dogs, then you will have problems.

However they are not for everybody. While they may have traits that you will find endearing, they also have some that you may, at one point or another, find unpleasant or downright disgusting. If you think you cannot tolerate it, you may be better off with a cat.

When you go home one day and find your cuddly little bundle of fur to be so big, you have to deal with it. You may not notice how fast they grow when you become so busy with work. But yes, they do grow up too fast and would not be cute, but still be as friendly, as smart, and as attached to you.

Because they have grown to be accustomed going with fishermen in the olden days, they are known for their love of water. In 1886, this breed was then officially recognized. During their early days they would appear cute and all too cuddly, with wide bright eyes. But the puppy you bring home, will not be the same one after months of having it.

Because this breed naturally thrives on companionship with people, leaving them so young outside for long hours will make them unsociable and too scared. They would want to follow you wherever you go. They are at their strongest and happiest when they are with you inside your home, not out.

Expect a good amount of fun and bonding with your pup during training sessions. Because they are sweet dogs, socialize yours by taking it anywhere, as early as possible. This way, it can quickly grow accustomed to its surroundings and your area. This will also help you keep it in control when it is time to go out or to the vet.

By exposing it, you are giving your pet a chance to experience many different situations. It will then learn to accept and tolerate any kind of situation, with any type of animals and people. Thus, it gives you more time, because you do not have to fuss over it being with others, or getting in trouble with other pets.

Remember to also let it sleep next to you when it is still little. Yes, they need that too, as babies does. Because the puppy is technically still a baby. You need to give as much time and care as you can. Even in training, it will come running to you, as it considers no other pack leader. Getting a newfie can seem so simple and fun. But not when you do not want to be dedicated to it, as how it can get dedicated to you.
