Horses are very important animals when it comes to racing and association with the high class personality in society. Usually, they are allied to rich people and tycoons. In order for them to maintain such status, horse care is a must in all the aspects concerning health, grooming and exercise. This is not cheap.

The skin is the most integral part which requires this treatment. Here, it is about cleanliness, especially using the right products such as spot removers, repellents and shampoo. These items provide a healthy skin and radiant hairs free from dirt. Well kept skin demonstrates a responsible owner.

On the grooming aspect, a brush is mandatory. Here, the caretaker brushes the hairs of this animal on a regular basis as a way of keeping off parasites such as ticks, bedbugs and lice. They are commonly found in long dirty hairs.

When galloping, mud usually gets stuck in the hooves. Others end up incurring injuries. If this mud is left to accumulate, it can cause infections off yeast and fungi in nature. This is harmful to the health of this animal. The wounds on the other part will require dressing.

What should be done is for them to be scrubbed after every run. It removes the mud completely. At the end of it all, powder is applied to dry up the places hence keeping it free from thriving of any infection. Above all, regular check up from the vet is vital.

Another healthy component for the owners to incorporate in horse care is sufficient food and water. Regular food of up to twenty pounds and water quantity of eight gallons in a day are sufficient to keep the animal fit. It is better for the owners to allow grazing for an entire day.
